International Expression of Commitment Forms

To comply with International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) and International Testing Agency (ITA) anti-doping rules, Team USA athletes must be in af testing pool and subject to whereabouts requirements no later than 3 months prior to the start of competition for all international competitions, including Pan American events. As preliminary entries for Pan American events are due 2 months in advance of competition, USAW balances the timing of the anti-doping rules and competition entries to best support our athletes. We are using an Expression of Interest form to support the process.

Any youth athlete who wishes to be considered for the 2024 Pan American Youth Championships must complete the Expression of Interest Form no later than May 1, 2024 by 8:00 a.m. MT. All selection procedure rules still apply and completing this form does not mean you will be selected for the team. If an athlete does not fill out the interest form by the deadline, they will not be eligible for the competition.

Upon completion of the interest form, you will receive an excel spreadsheet (with detailed instructions) to complete with additional information, including whereabouts information needed to comply with the anti-doping rules. This must be completed and sent back to lorene.halford@usaweightlifting.org no later than May 26, 2024 by 12:00 p.m. MT. If you do not return the spreadsheet by then, you will not be eligible for the 2024 Pan American Youth Championships.
