- The Compliance Manager is a dedicated process and systems person who plays a critical role in delivering USAW’s operational excellence. This team member creates and manages systems to ensure USAW complies with a range of regulatory requirements and operational best practices for Olympic and Paralympic National Governing Bodies. This includes serving as USAWs primary liaison and manager for all U.S Center for SafeSport matters and audits, leading USAW’s response to bi-annual audits from the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee and executing USAW’s ethics and grievances procedures for members.
- USA Weightlifting seeks highly qualified instructors for USAW Level 1 coaching courses who are knowledgeable in the fields of weightlifting, training plan design, and strength training. Ideal candidates have five or more years of relevant coaching experience in weightlifting, strength and conditioning, or sports performance. They demonstrate the ability to coach athletes in the sport of weightlifting and/or coach the weightlifting movements in a strength and conditioning or sport setting. Must have a positive, inclusive, and welcoming disposition and excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills. Candidates should be invested in the growth of the sport of weightlifting and committed to teaching and mentoring those who attend USAW coach education courses. This is a contracted position that requires the ability to work weekends and may require travel.
