Media Credentials
View, opens in a new tabAll media must apply for media credentials for all USAW national events. All media members are REQUIRED to have 1) current U.S. Center for Safe Sport training, and, 2) effective March 2026, MUST ALSO HAVE A VALID BACKGROUND CHECK ON FILE to be approved for a credential.
Credential approval/denial emails are typically sent 1-2 weeks before the start of competition. Background checks typically take five days to turn around, meaning that if you wait until the week of a competition to apply for a background check, you may not be approved for the competition. Please click here to submit your information to NCSI and start your background check.
