Masters Hall of Fame

Honoring Excellence. Celebrating Longevity.

The USA Weightlifting Masters Hall of Fame recognizes athletes who have achieved exceptional competitive success while continuing to perform at a high level beyond the age of 35. This honor is a division-specific recognition program celebrating excellence and a sustained commitment to the sport of weightlifting. It exists alongside the USA Weightlifting Hall of Fame, which recognizes lifetime impact and achievement across the broader sport.

The re-launched Masters Hall of Fame expands beyond Masters-only events to recognize age-based achievement across the full competitive spectrum, including selection to international teams and performances at Senior National Championships at age 35 and older.

Masters athletes are USA Weightlifting members who compete at age 35 and older in designated qualifying events.

Eligibility for the Masters Hall of Fame is based on competitive achievements earned while competing as a Masters athlete.

Induction into the Masters Hall of Fame is determined through a points-based system, designed to reflect both performance and longevity.

  • Minimum requirement: 150 total points
  • Points are earned through competitive results at designated qualifying events
  • Achievements may be earned at both Masters-specific and senior elite competitions, when competed in at age 35+
