USA Weightlifting Nationals Week Lands in Pittsburgh in 2024

USA Weightlifting is excited to announce that The Nike 2024 USA Weightlifting National Championships Week powered by Rogue Fitness will be held June 15-23 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. 

The collaboration between USA Weightlifting and Sports Pittsburgh marks a significant milestone in USAW's mission to promote and celebrate the sport of weightlifting in the United States. The event, just weeks before the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, symbolizes the unity and shared passion for sport that lies at the heart of our nation's athletes.

"We are thrilled to join forces with Sports Pittsburgh to celebrate our sport and are grateful for their support in making this collaboration a reality," USA Weightlifting CEO Matt Sicchio said. “We are excited to deliver an unforgettable experience for athletes, coaches, spectators, and the city of Pittsburgh.”

Pittsburgh’s David L. Lawrence Convention Center, a renowned venue, will serve as the backdrop for Nationals Week. With 1,600 athletes Pittsburgh is set to become the epicenter of athletic excellence and sportsmanship during this thrilling week.The event will offer spectators an unparalleled opportunity to witness top-tier athletes in action as they compete for national titles.

The qualification period for the 2024 USA Weightlifting National Championships Week runs from May 16, 2023-May 16, 2024.
