USA Weightlifting Announces All American Titles

USA Weightlifting in partnership with the University Weightlifting Committee are pleased to announce the implementation of All-American titles for athletes competing at the University National Championships.
"The inclusion of All-American titles will help support our continued goal of increasing participation of weightlifting at the collegiate level" said Suzy Sanchez Director of Culture, Community, and Outreach.
This decision was made through collaborative work with the University Weightlifting Committee and the 5 regional representatives appointed to represent each region in the United States.
To claim an All-American title athletes will need to make 75% of the National Ranking System (NRS) located in appendices of the USA Weightlifting selection procedures.
All-American athletes will receive patches in the mail following the conclusion of the National University Weightlifting Championships.
