17 Athletes Earn USA Weightlifting Masters Triple Crown Honors in 2025

COLORADO SPRINGS – In 2025, 17 athletes claimed the honor of being a USA Weightlifting Masters Triple Crown winner. Each triple crown winner finished first in their category at the 2025 Masters National Championships, 2025 VIRUS Weightlifting Series 1 OR Series 2, and 2025 VIRUS Weightlifting Finals.
First announced after the 2023 season, the Masters Triple Crown title comes with a unique weightlifting belt from 2POOD for each winner. Five athletes from 2023 were retroactively honored, while 15 athletes earned the title in 2024. The 17 winners in 2025 marks a new high and brings the total winners to 37 over three years. Four of the 2025 winners earned their second Masters Triple Crown honor.
The pursuit of the 2026 Masters Triple Crown begins in just a few weeks at the 2026 VIRUS Weightlifting Series 1 from March 5-8 in Columbus, OH, while the first mandatory event to qualify for the triple crown is the 2026 Masters National Championships in Salt Lake City, UT, which runs April 9-12, 2026.
